- Description: Choose how you’d like to receive new writing by email.
- Author: Shawn Niu

## What happens next

1. Enter your email address and choose one or both editions.
2. You’ll get one email with a confirmation link. You’re not subscribed until you click it.
3. After confirming, you’ll receive the editions you chose. If you choose both, each edition arrives as its own email.

## Changing or stopping your subscription

Every email includes a link to manage your editions and an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from one edition doesn’t remove you from the other. You can also [manage your subscription](#/portal/account) here; if you aren’t signed in, you’ll get a sign-in link by email first.

## What subscribing does and doesn’t do

Newsletter subscriptions are for blog and email updates. Research and projects require a separate password. See the [privacy page](https://shawnniu.space/privacy/) for what is stored.
